Kind Words
I am blessed & humbled by these gracious words spoken by my listeners & friends…
I’ve listened to Shannon’s music for many years now. She is a true inspiration, and I am so thankful for the anointing on her life and her gift to lead worship. It’s an honor to know her!
Without a doubt, Shannon has been gifted and uniquely equipped to turn people's hearts toward God through song; and every song truly gives Him the worship that He deserves. You won't be able to merely listen with your ears; you'll hear this music ringing in the depths of your soul.
Shannon is one of my all time favorite singers. She has the gift, the voice, the heart, and above all, she lives the life she sings about. Every time I have had the privilege to worship with her, in a concert setting or in the studio, I am inspired to love God more. She is the real thing.
One of my joys has been to travel and minister with Shannon - she leads worship and I speak on worship. I am blessed that Shannon is my special friend but she is also my “worship leader.” When I go to the Secret Place with the Lord, Shannon’s anointed music goes with me. God’s presence is hidden in worship and Shannon’s beautiful songs take me there.

Shannon is a writer of writers and has nurtured my heart with her music for 20 years now. Although privileged to call her a friend for a decade now, I must say that she was my teacher long before we met, as her music was a type of mentor to me from afar both technically and spiritually. My soul owes her a debt of gratitude for living a poured out life of worship. Her lyrics have consistently brought me the love of the Father... Shannon is a true daughter of the King.

Shannon is an amazing singer with a heart of gold and a deep, genuine passion for God. When Shannon sings, I believe every word she says…

What a joy it has been to partner with Shannon in various Revive Our Hearts events. She is a rare breed of worship leader—in addition to being an unusually gifted musician and artist, she is a joyful, humble servant who shares out of her life and the freshness of her walk with God, engages wonderfully with the audience, facilitates their full participation in worship, and radiates the Spirit of Christ as she does. My own heart has never failed to be blessed and encouraged by being around this dear sister!

Shannon - your "Faithful God" CD has become my "go to" CD when I need encouragement from the Lord. God has really used those songs in my life. Recently I was flying back from LA - a 4 hour flight - and was feeling discouraged & alone. I listened to "Faithful God" for almost three hours and found myself crying & worshiping the Lord on the plane. I could feel my tanks filling back up. Last week, I had a challenging day in front of me and I put "Pour Your Spirit Out" on repeat. It played all day long in my office. I just wanted you to know your ministry blesses my life.

I have carried your songs with me in my car, on flights, on walks, and on my iPod. God has used your gift of song and songwriting to strengthen me in profound, life-altering ways as I face my challenges and as I recover from each day's onslaughts. Your songs are full of God's word, which is alive and active. Your voice is soothing. The melodies are memorable and stay with me through the night. Please continue to proclaim to the brokenhearted that He sees, He knows, He cares and that He is working everything together for good for us, His children.

Beautifully crafted musical and vocal talent bursts forth from the desire to worship her glorious and gracious Master and King. Shannon, I am SO grateful for your ministry. Through your music and lyrics you have brought so much comfort and peace to me and my friends. Your songs ministered to me when I was hurting, and lifted my heart when nothing else could. I live in Hawaii... and you can't really drive and drive and drive because it's about 100 miles around the island I live on. But when my life seemed to close in around me, I would jump in my VW bus and take a drive around the island... listening to and singing your songs, over and over. It was an intimate kind of road trip... just me... God... and Shannon!
–Diane, Hawaii
I received your CD "I Have A Song" a couple days ago. It has been ministering to me ever since. I don't think I could choose a single song that means the most. My husband and I are singing in the night right now, with a prodigal son and huge business difficulties. Thank you for allowing God to use you to minister to both of us.
–Darla
Thank you for being such a voice of God to my family. The songs the Lord gives you, combined with your heart to be used by Him, has been a source of such comfort, peace, restoration and hope for my daughters, my son and myself. You have helped make an impossible situation triumphant and have shown that through Christ there’s a joy that comes out of sorrow, a peace that comes out of pain, and a hope that comes out of despair.

Dearest Shannon, your music blesses my me to the depths of my soul, where Abba lives. At noon and in the evenings, I put your albums on and Milania, my 18 month old granddaughter, crawls up in my lap to cuddle and go to sleep. God just touches our souls and we worship him together until we have soaked our souls into deep slumber. Thank you for allowing God, Abba, Daddy to use you in such a tremendous way.

My husband of seven years was not feeling well when I first started getting acquainted with the collection of songs on "Faithful God," and, in a short time, was diagnosed with cancer and died within five weeks. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for me, a time when I have cried out to the Lord as I've struggled with the many intense and unpredictable emotions of grief. Your songs have directed my mind to Him and the truths and promises of His Word in ways that I have desperately needed. Your songs, "Here in the Shadow," "Quiet Places," and "Whole Heart," have especially drawn me to my Lord and reminded me of His ultimate purposes for me, that I live completely in His love... thank you for your ministry to me at this time. I knew you would want to know how God is using you in one believer's life.

Just thought you'd like to know how your music and your song "Cling" is changing other people's lives too... I sang your song in concert Sunday night at a prison here in Wisconsin. As I sang, I watched several men just weep as the lyrics pierced their hearts. Afterwards several men commented on how that specific song ministered to them. 28 men raised their hands to accept Christ that evening. Thank you for your willingness to be vulnerable in your music – it IS making a difference!
–Karmen
I am always moved to tears with your songs. I live in Japan and, as you might know, there's not much Christian community. So when I would like to talk to God, I listen to your songs. Your voice is from heaven and very warm... so it feel that God’s taking me to his side. Anyway, all I would like you to know is there's a little Japanese girl who loves God and you.

Shannon, I had a chance to listen to your project recently, and once again, I need to tell you that the thing I appreciate most about you is that you lead me to the throne room... every time. Your obvious gifts as a vocalist and writer notwithstanding, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you, for your worshipping heart…
